Does anyone know of any good resources specifically written for Teens to read and learn about ACEs and Resiliency. So much of the material is great but high on science and very technical. I am looking for something more easily absorbed by teens and teens who they themselves have high ACEs.

Great question, Jen!
The Adolescent Health Working Group (AHWG) based in San Francisco put together an amazing booklet called Trauma and Resilience AHWG a couple years back. In addition to being available in pdf on-line - attached is a copy. You can find this and more at on their website!
The booklet covers each of these 3 broad topic areas - and has subcategories that go into further depth:
Trauma
Resilience
Care
Attachments
And that booklet was put together the wonderful Alicia St. Andrews, who was part of our team for a couple of years.
Thank you! The Trauma and Resilience AHWG pdf has exactly the type of handouts I have have been searching for.
And there's some useful info in this thread: https://pacesconnection.crowdstack.io/topic/member-request
Hi, Jen,
Please also consider connecting with Dr. Lee-Anne Gray who authored "Self-Compassion for Teens". Building capacity on the youth's self-care and mindfulness, there are 129 activities which cultivate kindness and self-compassion. Lee-Anne's blog post is here:
