What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
To promote awareness about core concepts from the fields neurobiology, epigenetics, ACEs, and resilience research (NEAR science) by presenting and training others to share the ACE Interface core talk and related resources with community members, caregivers, and providers/professionals across Minnesota.
Our goal it to share this information widely so people can have a deeper understanding of themselves, their past experiences, the history of the land that is now known as the United States. After hearing this information, people often reflect on how these core concepts can be integrated into their practice on an individual and family level, and on an organizational and community level.
This information often serves as a catalyst for community-driven efforts, and helps communities move from understanding to action and encourages organizations to examine their policies and practices through a trauma-responsive lens. It can also help people reflect on how they relate to others, how they self-regulate during times of stress, and realize that it is possible to move through pain to healing.
