What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?

Impact of parental (and grandparental) ACE on child outcomes. Trying to quantitate epigenetic changes. I see children with Multiple Sclerosis and other neuro-immune disorders (yes, kids get MS too). Many of my peds MS patients have much more chaotic lives than I see in my other patient populations (i.e. epilepsy, migraine---disorders where genes play a bigger role?) And much more obesity!! Could ACE explain why we see so much pediatric onset MS in minority populations (blacks in Southeast, Hispanic in west, southwest) and children of immigrants? (especially prominent in Northeast populations)
