What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
Having grown up in East Africa and invested 8 years of my life with the community Oprah visited to unveil America's poverty, I am passionate about helping communities advance trauma-informed care and experience health equity culture shifts to elevate disproportionately impacted populations. I have served as a Drug-Free Communities Project Coordinator for the Iroquois-Regional Office of Education and Community Impact Coordinator for United Way of Kankakee & Iroquois Counties. I want to help spread this catalytic movement to those it has not yet reached.
If you're part of a community-based PACEs initiative, which one?
Kankakee Iroquois Cares
