What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
Renae M. Dupuis, M.Div. R-HYI, R-TSHYI, is a teacher, speaker, writer, and advocate in Southern California. As an adoptive parent of two children with complex developmental trauma, she was an Intensive Treatment Foster parent in Los Angeles County.
With a Masters in Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, she teaches at local churches and schools throughout Southern California. She is also a Parent Trainer for Empowered to Connect, a TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) Practitioner, and an ACE Interface Master Trainer. In her role as Chaplain at CHOC Children's, she was on the Trauma response team and provided support for children, parents, and staff during and after traumatic events, educating all parties on resiliency and trauma processing techniques
Renae recently co-developed the Healthy Humans program at Doing Good Works in the Director of Healthy Humans role. She served OC United as the Director of Trauma and Whole-Person Care, overseeing Trauma Education for Southern California and leading the RESPITE (Resources, Education, & Support for Parents | Interventions for Trauma-Sensitive Environments) Support Program, programming and facilitating support within the foster, adoptive, and kinship constellation.
