What is your interest in PACEs and resilience science?
Acknowledging a traumatic past is the first step towards self-care. Reckoning must occur before resilience can take hold. From there is resolve. This is the process that allows healing to last. I have a very high ACE score. Learning about ACEs changed my life for the better and the lives of my children. I feel strongly and am invested heavily in sharing this capacity with others. Science is ever evolving. Understanding it and connecting it to experiences creates an opportunity to not only be fed, but be fed with good, organic, homegrown, nutrient filled food for the soul. This worlds needs so much healing. ACEs and resilience science is, without comparison, the greatest equalizer. I hurt, you hurt, we hurt. I heal, you heal, we heal.
If you're part of a community-based PACEs initiative, which one?
Not sure if Resilient Richland is but if it is then there ya' go!
